Though this tiny community doesn’t have much when it comes to lodging or amenities, the city is the ideal stop for visitors on their way to Lake Powell as Hite is one of the only cities where the lake can be easily accessed from a road. Hite’s nearby bridge is also the only area crossing over the Colorado.

Hite is tiny and has limited lodging and amenities. There are a few motels in town, and well stocked store. Hite Marina is currently closed due to low water levels.

Hite stays on the map because of its proximity to Lake Powell. Nearby activities include hiking, boating, fishing, and waterskiing.
Attractions
Hite is approximately 54 miles away from Natural Bridges Monument, home to some of the most breathtaking examples of stone arches found anywhere in the world.
Getting Here
Hite located approximately 154 miles south east of Moab. Along your drive, make sure to take a detour to Canyonlands State Park. Natural Bridges Monument is conveniently located en route.
