Lake Powell is over 186 miles in length. Everywhere along the shore, you will find sandy beaches and majestic red-rock scenery. The cool blue water is a stark contrast to the hot rocky and/or sandy shorelines. This immense shoreline which is longer than the entire western coast of the continental United States, provides some of the best beach camping to be found anywhere in the Northwest.
On Lake Powell, you can enjoy boating, kayaking, water skiing and fishing. You can travel by boat to such natural wonders as Rainbow Bridge, or use the boat as your base to explore the miles of shoreline and numerous canyons. Many tourists travel to Lake Powell to experience the adventure of a houseboat vacation. Others come to water ski on this huge body of water.
You can gain access to Lake Powell at any of the marinas located in Utah, or from those close to Page, Arizona. In total, there are six marinas found along the shoreline. Houseboat and/or speedboat rentals are available at Wahweap, Bullfrog and Halls Crossing marinas and at Antelope Point.
Lake Powell invites you to enjoy a fantastic variety of land and water activities including boating, water skiing, scenic cruises and much, much more.
